Communications through email, SMS and Whatsapp
Keep your team members communicated through email, SMS and Whatsapp.
Mini Agent supports communication through email, SMS and WhatsApp to maintain all members associated with a task in the loop through their medium of choice.
On the left-hand side of the profile page, any member can opt for a preferred way of being reached when tasks are assigned or related to them, either through email, SMS or Whatsapp.
There are two types of messages members can receive: notifications and direct messages (DMs). A notification happens when a task is assigned or re-assigned to a member, while a direct message (DM) happens when a member initiates contact directly with another member, either to follow-up on a particular task or reach out with a request. All message mediums — email, SMS, Whatsapp — are available for both message types. All SMS and Whatsapp messages incur a cost that must be paid by the member initiating the message.
Only email notifications are included in every plan free of charge
Because direct messages (DMs) can be personalized and 'blasted' to many users as a form of spam, they have individual costs to avoid any kind of abuse. SMS and Whatsapp messages — either direct message or notifications — also have individual costs, since their costs vary widely depending on the recepient's country, carrier costs and other components that are out of our control.
On the left-hand side of the profile page, you can buy credits for sending direct messages or upgrading notifications to be SMS or Whatsapp based.
It's in the "My Workspace" tab where you can send direct messages to workspace members. This space shows all members of a workspace, as well as the member's preferred medium of contact, including the ability to override a member's preferences and contact him using any medium (i.e. email, SMS or Whatsapp).
